Some hot Far Cry 2 Action
September 7th, 2007 Posted in PCFar Cry 2 is shaping up to be pretty cool. Now I know that Africa is all of a sudden the new hotness (RE 5, etc.) but the world in which FC2 seems to be happening is intriguing.
All the action takes place in a 50 sq/km open map in which you can freely roam. The sandbox feel to that is pretty cool. There isn’t a ton known about the game yet, but a walk-through was posted on GameTrailers.com that shows about 12 minutes of gameplay from the Leipzig Games Convention. The really interesting thing that I noticed was the AI. While at sometimes it seems pretty generic, the fact that the AI will jump into a jeep and track you down and try to run you off the road if you steal a vehicle is, well, awesome.
