Translated that means,
Act without Doing
Okay, so what? Well, that philosophy was the basis for a wonderful application called Quicksilver, a launcher for Macs and PCs.
If you’re just hearing about this now, then today is your lucky day. Nicholas Jitkoff (creator of Quicksilver) a few days back did a Google Tech Talk to his fellow employees, and it’s now hosted on Google Video. A Tech Talk is basically a presentation going over the different features that an app has, and how it’s used. The video is very informative, and if it doesn’t make you want to give Quicksilver a try, then I don’t know what will.
I’ve been using this for a while, and find that it’s great to help speed up your life on these infernal machines we use every day. I’m actually always interested in ways that I can accelerate my productivity or enhance my workflow, and a great site to do that is where I found this video. Lifehacker is a great resource, and the writers there really know their tricks. In fact, they have tons of information about Quicksilver if you want to take a look at that as well.
