Wii Zapper and Link’s Crossbow Confirmed!

Have you heard the rumour about a Zelda game being included with the Wii Zapper when it’s launched? Well, turns out, rumour it is not.  Nintendo has confirmed that the Zapper will indeed include a game called, Link’s Crossbow Trainingâ„¢.Â
So new Zelda game already? Twilight Princess was just last year! Well, turns out that the Training mentioned in the title is very self-describing. The game is basically a tutorial application to help you learn to use the Zapper. You’ll start off shooting stationary targets, and then progress to moving ones, and *gasp!* ones that fight back! Anyways, think of it like Wii Play — you get a cheap game that might keep you interested for a little while (although there was WAY more depth to Play by virtue of the number of mini games included), but you get a free controller with it. Use logic like me, and you’ll always be blissfully unaware.
The best part is that the Zapper is still coming out on November 19th, and still for 20 bucks US.
I still don’t know if I totally like the fact that the trigger is at the front of the Zapper… it’s just a little awkward compared to what a regular “gun” is like… but I guess I’ll get used to it. Now, bring out Duck Hunt! Come on!
