Ryan is completely sick of these…I am not. So you get information on yet another comic book movie that is on the way.

This is actually a biggie — Variety just confirmed that Warner Brothers is moving ahead with a big screen adaptation of Justice League. For those un-initiated the JLA has such heavy hitters as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter (among many others).

Warner Bros. is moving aggressively ahead with the bigscreen adaptation of DC Comics’ “Justice League of America,” with George Miller on board to direct.

Project, which is the initial phases of casting, is a pre-strike priority for the studio, which needs a superhero tentpole in 2009.

The only thing confirmed so far is that George Miller is set to direct. His most recent works include Happy Feat, and Babe…This is where you all start to freak out…

..

.

Now take a deep breath, because George is also the director of Lorenzo’s Oil, and the Mad Max series, so he’s more the capable of pulling this off.

As an add-on to those that don’t know: Christian Bale and Brandon Routh have both been ruled out as actors for Batman and Superman respectively, so we’ll be seeing new actors in these roles.

Ryan will now comment and surely tell you who I want playing Superman (hint: if you look closely you’ll already know who I want).
