PlayStation Store not just for PS3 Anymore
September 20th, 2007 Posted in PS3, PC
In another announcement during the Sony presser last night, the PlayStation store is going to be headed over to PC’s so you can purchase content, and even PS One games to transfer over to you PSP from the comfort of your office…
Well, that’s cool that you won’t need a PS3 now to get games for your PSP, the majority of the content in the store is geared towards to the PS3… so kudos for the new open-mentality Sony, we all had the proprietary nature of your past, and this is a very welcome step in the new direction, but how ’bout bringing some of this new hotness over to Canada? Did I mention this is only going to be available in Japan (at least to start)?
So that marks two completely cool PlayStation branded “apps” that are only available over seas. This, in Japan. And PlayTV which is only going to be for Europe. Oh how I want a PS3 based PVR. Looks so pretty. ![]()
