Toronto Halo 3 Midnight Launch Event

Well, it’s about that time. Halo 3 is officially out in a few more hours. Tony and I headed down to the launch event that the MS PR machine was holding down at the Best Buy at Bay and Dundas in Toronto.
We got there around 9, and things were a little thin still… as can be seen by:

So yeah, these two shots were taken about an hour apart from each other. Not exactly jumping. The rest of the Halo die-hards were in the tent… you know, playing Halo 3.

Ah, the media tent. It’s a staple at these kinds of things. This tent was pretty good. With it’s own DJ, and several areas to play both the single player, and the multiplayer game.
Master Chief was also on hand… in both a Fan version, and Official version. You do the comparison:

By far the coolest thing I saw there though, was this awesome mural that was painted depicting Master Chief. I’ve loaded up a 7 mpx shot here that you guys can download.
