Recommended: Left 4 Dead

Last night Tony, myself and Ricky decided to pick up Left 4 Dead and give it a run through… and I can honestly say that was a very good decision.

I can’t remember a better time with multiplayer in the recent past than I had last night… the trepidation on entering a new room or an open street…  the panic that set in when the horde swarmed our party… the utter joy in being able to call Tony as many names as I could possibly come up with as his sheer ineptitude when he let me die (obviously it was HIS fault)… this game was awesome.

It’s a simple premise, but it works great.  You play short 1-3 (depending on how good you are, and how hard the difficulty is) hour “movies” that are just long enough to enjoy, but short enough to finish in one sitting.

Honestly, if you haven’t tried this game yet you are doing yourself a dis-service.  Go get it.

But don’t get too excited when it first starts, because remember all you did was “cross the street.”
